Work information
On the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the Swiss village of Escholzmatt in 2010, Reto Stadelmann joined forces with the local brass band to support their contribution to the local festivities. In Der Dorfrundgang, the composer set out a programme that took the listeners on a musical guided tour of the village, suggesting in seven movements the people and the nature of this beautiful rustic region.
